I’m Shoshanna Levy, a qualified, natural personal chef and holistic nutrition consultant, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve been a personal chef and real food nutritionist and educator for over 10 years to clients across the country from NYC to San Francisco.
I’m a certified Natural Chef and Nutrition Consultant, gaining my education and training at Bauman College, and was recently featured in their Alumni Spotlight.
Why “Rogue” Food?
Rogue Food is “rogue” because it’s the opposite of “one-size-fits-all-eating”. It’s about acknowledging that each individual’s dietary needs are different. That’s why I work with my clients as individuals to develop delicious dishes to fit different dietary and lifestyle needs.
Like many others, I grew up eating the SAD (Standard American Diet) and it made me very sick. After a lifetime of illness, I discovered real food and got on the train to optimal health! I totally transformed my health through food! So I know first hand what it’s like to make the shift from a SAD diet to eating real food.
Cooking has always been my lifelong passion so first, I became a nutritionist and made the connection between how what I eat affects every single aspect of my health and wellness. Over the years, I’ve helped a wide variety of people understand the importance of a real food diet and I guided them with weekly consults, meal plans, shopping tours, pantry clean outs, and lots of encouragement and education.
Then I started cooking for people who were too busy to execute the meal plans I’d recommended for them. The next step in my career was obvious. As a passionate cook and foodie I wanted to go to chef school because I realized that cooking feeds so much more than our nutritional needs!
Now, as your Rogue Food personal chef, I create nutrient-rich, delicious meals that support your health and help you feel better and more vibrantly alive in body and mind… than you have in years!
